This weekend was raining non stop in central New Jersey and getting cold !
I have many projects to take pictures but the lighting is not helping.
Details on the card:

Colored with my old and good Gamsol and Prisma Pencils.

Yesterday was my anniversary, 9 years and 14.5 that we know each other. How time goes fast, I met my husband I was 19 wow. So we went for dinner first time alone, and left Lucas with a baby sitter , I was trying really hard not to think about him. I try people :) but I crazy to get home to check on him, sleeping of course ...motherhood indeed is a funny thing.

Layouts and Mini

Hi everyone I'm here again to present some creations for Everything Scrapp'n Store. I want to say that the store has a great sale going on with Designer Paper for $ 0.20 including this

Pop Backyard American Crafts paper I did this mini album with. The whole mini was using one 12x12 paper.
Here are some pages in this one I use a scrap from the Onesis Overlay. The paper version of this design in blue and pink are also on sale for $0.20 !!Check it out

I used yellow acrylic paint on my borders and on the covers, this is a 3x3 board book.
On these 2 pages you can see I cut some trees from the scraps from the paper to add them with pop dots. The stamps are Autumn Leaves.


The paper on this layout is SassafraLass Woodland Whimsy with this paper you don't need to do much it looks like has layers and fabric. Stamps: Unity ,Fiskars and SU, letter stickers MM.

This beautiful Butterfly overlay is one of my favorites from Hambly , this overlay is also on sale for $0.20 can't miss that?!!

I used Kraft Bazzill then put some acrylic paint and stampled the overlay on top, used some Grungeboard and put some crackle paint.Flowers: KI memories.

Mini Album

This is a darling mini album, that you can see in this tutorial. Although I think the spine is a little too large, next time I will calculate a smaller spine.

The cover is Unity Stamps , the brads inside are SU.

I've been busy with some projects, so this is going to be short.

Layout and Excitting NEWS!

After Playing with PSE, it's fun to use the pictures in a layout, I enlarged this picture to the entire extension of the 8 1/2 paper, you can't see but this flocked paper from 7 Gypsies is just so beautiful and touchy, loved this paper. MM paper, and stamps from Unity Stamps. The little bird I don't remember is from my stash.


To some news:

I was chosen as a DT Designer for Everything Scrapp'n Scrapbook Store. I'm very happy and excited in this new adventure. You can also visit their blog here. I'm very happy they gave opportunity to new faces. I have many projects on mind already.

Today weather was crazy 7 am was snowing ! Crazy Crazy, yesterday beautiful weather and today was snowing ! To me actually doesn't matter and I can't get out anyway.

I'm 38 weeks today, probably from now on I won't post everyday because I'm saving things I'm doing for schedule posts later.
I begin to do some of Lucas 8x8 Album, and I want to see if I record a free tutorial before my labor, which seems will go till the end of 40 weeks.
I have tons of ideas but some days too tired, but I'll get there :)

Yesterday I was thinking that in moments like this, you see real friends. My friends that are in other states, although not here with me, everyday they show me that distance it's just a detail. The know we don't have family and my mother is not coming. So, everyday I have a support from someone.
Yesterday I received a very generous gift for Lucas and a very touching card. I'm so happy for the friendships I was able to do here. Sure you miss them, but I know I have them anyway. ;)

This is the time Hybrid Layout

So the picture is about 7x7 did a effect with the digital paper and added a frame with PSE 6 (mac), this frame was a freebie if i'm not wrong from Ohscraps.
The fun thing about digital is that there's a lot of freebies.
In a totally normal way of scrapping I could never do a effect like this with my pictures.
Printed, than used some papers and stamps from Unity Stamp, and it's done.

Bliss 18 weeks Layout with home made overlay

One more layout for my pregnancy little album, this time I decided to a simple layout and top it with a home made overlay, I think the most economical way to create your overlays.
Just buy a digital overlay print in transparency and Voila !
The fun is you can change colors and use on your pictures or print by itself as I did here.
I re sized my overlay to the same size of my layout, and printed on transparency.
That would work for a card for example if you have a digital overlay with swirls or you have a brush, just brush your canvas print on transparency and cut to card size.
So no need of white staz-on. Maybe I will try that, to show you guys.

By the way, did you see her line at Walmart?
Boy, she has so many things there now, and punches, I even bought a Monogram stamp, that of course is much cheaper in Walmart. Funny how the same line ca be affordable at Walmart and expensive at Michaels.

It's good to be back on track, although I was not able to finish as much as I wanted because some pregnancy issues that knocked me down a bit. But I'm feeling much better now.

Card

Hi everyone, is so cold here today 24F (-4C) but they say fells like 13 F (-10C). It s really scary to walk because I'm always afraid of the ice patches.
This weekend was pretty cold too, but we venture Saturday to make some baby shopping, as I don't know many people here in my area I can't count on Baby Showers, I know people but I don't have friends here, to me there is a difference , if you get me
So, I'm not counting on that .
But we are 80% there ! OMG this diapers smell so good :) but I dont want to buy a lot of newborn diapers , actually I'm done,because I don't think my baby will be that tiny ! As doctor said. So, from now on just buying number 2 and 3 lol.



New Project Adventure for 2009 !

I read at the new issue of CK about the new kit of the month by Becky Higgins project 365, if you probably receive the magazine you saw some samples.
Its pretty exciting ! you can read more here on Becky's Blog and see the kit preview Gosh I can wait ! I'm really not good at it, but I want to push myself because this will be a year full of new things to document.
Maybe you think in do something like this too?

Kindle Layout

I already gave my DH his birthday and Xmas gift, because for the price of this thing, it can be for both, lol .This picture was taken when he got from work and saw it. I wanted to give something he really wanted and something really good that I could buy all by myself before living work. I'm very blessed and he sure deserves it. He already gave my gift this weekend which I wanted really bad :) if you don't know what a kindle is , just go to Amazon, is a eletronic book reader and has internet access.

Can you see the difference in this scanned image? That is my gift, I wanted a really good printer, I was sick and tired of this old $70.00 unbearable printers, now I have a a great one, and its wireless !! Works great for me !
Anyway, just came from Doctor today and he said I have to cut my snacks or/and sweets, because I gained some weight ! :( I'm feeling heavier , so no more brownies :~~~~(

Ok The stamps used in the layout are Unity stamps , paper I don't know comes in my kit from coordinate collections.

Sorry guys just now I saw this was a bad shot, but oh well..I'm so lazy now to do things.
I found this website, very interesting they have one sale a day, one item 72% off so I have in my reader maybe one day there is something that I'm looking for. It had great bargains so far, but that item it's just for one day.

Layout Miracle

I did this layout with 3 challenges in my mind, lol. I think I'm learning to optimize with my Husband, well he has PHD in optimization, ok I will stop there because my brain doesn't work when I begin to remember my house full of books of computer science , lol
Anyway, a cool site that has a challenge every week is one little word, and went great with this picture I wanted to scrapbook about, every week they have a challenge to do a layout about one word :)
I'm pretty excited that I found this book at my local Bookstore


It's been all that I was looking for, as this is a huge priority to me, I will dedicate stop working that to make my child learn my language, and know the importance to know languages, to me languages open doors for you to respect people and learn that the world is not just about you.
And also in the market like to day in the future I'm sure its going to help him.Anyway, if you are in that situation or just you do want your child to be bilingual, this book is for you, this is not just for foreigners like me , but even for families that speak just one language at home and want their kids to learn another.

I'm trying to let ready some cards to much needed occasions, and random occasions when you need a card and you do not have to run to do it, because probably soon I won't have as much time.
Are you getting ready for thanksgiving, I'm in glad of the big rest will have.
Not sleeping well at all, having a lot of insomnia, my book says is the body preparing itself for lack of sleep, lol
I think , don't prepare yourself now leave the moment :) and right now I can sleep :)

Rainy day here in NJ, but the Temp. is so nice....
Finally tried to finish a card with this new stamp I got from Unity Stamp, I bought some pregnancy stamps and they had this promotion with this stamp set for like $2.00 lol
can't miss that ! I actually like their rubber quality.
I colored the stamp with permanent markers....

I recorded a video for youtube yesterday so I have to edit ...
