Receipt Book with BIA

This book I made for Baby receipts of things I will buy, to complete his things, not just because if I need to change something I have a place for the receipts , but as a documentation of what we did for him. Of course , you can adapt this book for any kind of receipts.

I left a lot of space for notes , and things I may want to add along the way, on the journal labels I will decide what kind of receipts go inside, and some extra small pockets. The main pages are manila envelopes.
Very simple decoration, a very fast and easy project, you don't have to think a lot get a set of papers and try to work with them in a same style each page so it looks a continuous work.
The bag purses gift bags from target.
For the cover I used foam stamps with acrylic paint , the design tag is from cricut as well the white letters , the blue baby letter are stickers.
Snoopy had to take a pic on the project :)

I went to Michaels today to finally do some projects that I was long putting aside.
I bought a canvas in Brasil hand painted by a local artist, and finally took the 60% off and put it to be done. And a also I bought a frame to my beautiful poster I bought there.
And some goodies to begin some baby projects: )

Altered Acrylic Frame

Hi everybody, I did this to take with me as a gift to my friend, I bought this acrylic frames at Staples and turn them horizontally and she can put a picture and use also as calendar.
The butterfly and the bird die cuts are Cricut, Storybook cartridge. The stamp used is SU.
I don't remember where I got this template but usually I google 2009 calendar templates and I find a lot of them.
This is also the picture of my last video tutorial I did not have a chance to finish.
Today I'll participate a little of the chat/skype conference Paperclipping live, let me know if you there. Starts around 8:30 p.m for NJ area , I still have to finish my layout.
My friend Malieta has tagged me, 7 facts about myself, gee I don't like to think about that a lot but I will give it a try...

Notes book with BIA

A simple notebook I've made to a guest I had at my house to have some lunch with me. You can't see in the picture but the cover is 2 layers, 1 is Design Paper and the top is a PVC plastic I bought in Brazil, that is kind of texturized. The butterfly is from Spellbinders , I made 2 so one one the wings go down. Ribbon hardware TAC and Ribbon Walmart.

Looking all this blogs around with Father' s day cards make me remember my father a lot. I want to do a piece of art for me and my sister, but all the pictures we tried to collect from him are with me in a box and it's really hard to open that box and see him, makes me want to hear his voice, how I miss my father voice, but maybe soon I will be strong enough to go and deal these pictures. My sister has one more with her , from their wedding , the only one my mother didn' t destroy. yes, she destroyed most of his pictures after they separated 2 years before he died. I'm still working on forgiveness of that , so just make me want to say, cherish each day, and the ones you love !

Bind it all project

Hi everybody

Well after some of my coasters arrived, I bought a bunch of 4x4 coasters medium weight.
I decided to do this cute little project, to myself and my love ;)
Its not decorated yet, after when I finish decorating I will post so you can see the difference.
I think the best thing to beginners like me to work in a project like that , it is to use kits that come together, and these kits are great because they do all the work for you, I told before also I receive monthly like 3 kits, and after feeling sorry to use the wonderful paper I decided to put my bind it all to use :)

The kit from this project is from Zany Zinnia,
most papers are from sassafralass. The bia wires are 1/2 "
