Yesterday was my anniversary, 9 years and 14.5 that we know each other. How time goes fast, I met my husband I was 19 wow. So we went for dinner first time alone, and left Lucas with a baby sitter , I was trying really hard not to think about him. I try people :) but I crazy to get home to check on him, sleeping of course ...motherhood indeed is a funny thing.

We are having some serious thunderstorms here, but at least is not so hot like other places, I'm kind of sad that Snoopy is not getting better, and I don't want to change the medicine because the doctor said the old medicine has risks to diabetes. So, probably we will have to make a allergy test on him, I don't want to give this medicine. For now he is taking benadryl but is not doing much. :(

Card and Award and some thought

I did some cards but I'm not uploading from my camera as fast because my project 365 I wait to a good number of pics to upload to the computer. So here you go finally a card.

Before yesterday I was really shocked and sad with some news I found out , in Coordinating Collections blog, (this is my monthly kit). On this topic .
I participate constantly in the forum, this lady was well known of us, she was one time DT guest designer and she was always so sweet in her comments to our creations and a very active scrapper.
This stroke me how Scrapbooking has such a value, because going in her gallery or just looking at the post there with some of her creations I could see she talked through the pages of her layouts about herself, her life, her children....I thought wow ! what a precious thing her family now will have, her legacy and her sentiments kept safe in her layouts. We are such a small part of this life, life is such a breath of air....and we have everyday to be Grateful, Enjoy each day, and leave our mark ....So I begin to think everyday how can I enjoy more each day and leave my mark and legacy to my child....?

Well as part of the plan for that, Friday was my last day of work. Now I can rest more, and prepare for the big moment of my life and prepare things to Lucas. Enjoy my house, my moment , my family, my days. Altough it will be strange after so many years working, I do not feel any regret, I'm just so excited and anxious for the labor of love that is coming to our house.

I saw this stamp set from all that scraps and could not resist, isnt this cute, the grass was a TAC stamp. She kind of make me remember magnolias , lol

, also working with Fabric, for a scrapbook/journal mini for my Pregnancy Journal. But don't worry not a lot baby stuff till I know the sex, till there I'm stucked. :)
But I do already begin to sketch a album for the 12 month period to be ready just to assemble pictures.

Paper Jewels - she does amazing projects with TAC products, she has a cool tutorial on a CD photo cube, check it out.

Hand to Paper - this woman does not use a lot of stamps but to me just to look at her cards, oh my
Crazy about mini albums - Thats my kind of blog ;)
Paperclipping - Noell has some great podcasts and also some great articles if you like or want to start scrapbooking she has some interesting things about design, how to do vacation album.
Great site, and she does scrapbook live ! I can never see it live because the time , but I always check the recorded file.

This is some of sites that inspired me in different ways , some more in education, other with ideas,,so I hope you can be inspired today.

Tomorrow I will finally see my seed for the first time :) Can't wait :)

Card and Award

I hope everybody is alright, I have a busy time , I'm tired . I had a guest at my house that today was his last day with us. I'm tired because I took a day off to show him NY, my legs hurt so much walking. Anyway, I've made this card a while ago, this stamp I bought in the convention I went from a company call The Rubber Cottage. I used Ranger distress emboss powder, very different.


This is a picture I took in the fields here where I live , to show the amazing things we can do with Adobe Photoshop Elements I love this program.
