Wrap up boxes

Got this template from PTI, to put some goodies for my friends Selma & Carla that came to visit me this week, it was really nice to finally see people you met here in blog land through the passion of stamping and scrapbooking.
First one I embossed a SU stamp and the butterfly with Cuttlebug die and embossing folder.

--Off topic

yesterday was a pretty scary day for me, Lucas had a little accident. I put him in the corner of the sofa to grab his bottle and in like 10 s I just listen that screaming and I ran and he was on he floor.
I can't tell you how desperate I got, he was crying a lot and I was crying and shacking. I called his pediatric clinic and the nurse said for me to take him there, so like a thunder I packed him.
To this point he was already calm. But me another story
The doctor actually looked him and he was smiling for her, and I was crying.
I was feeling devastated, I had so much fear and guilty, I can't forgive myself that he had that happen to him.
But I thank God he is fine and smiley as always.

Ah the woos of motherhood. I know you feel bad & guilty but Jana we have all been there, it happens to lots of first time mothers & we all learn from our guilt & mistakes you are not alone! We don't have a manual on how to be a mother, it's on the job training...we're on our own! Special hugs to you girl!

I'm sorry that Lucas fell off the couch. Babies are so quick. When Alexis was 3 weeks old. . I had laid her on the bed thinking she can't move within 5 minutes, she had scooted herself to the edge of the bed. I couldn't believe a 3 week old could move. Luckily, I caught her in time.

Don't be too hard on yourself, Jana! It happens to all moms. I'm glad Lucas is his normal smiley self and that he is okay. We bought a small play pen for Alexis when she was a baby so whenever we needed to step away, we'd put her in the pen. It really helped to keep her safe.

Your purse turned out beautiful. . .Such a fun project. I love the dp that you used. . it's perfect for the purse design.

What an adorable box, your friend is going to LOVE it!
I'm so glad to know that Lucas wasn't harmed and that he is back to his smiley mode. In all honesty, I think most moms have experienced their baby falling off a bed or couch. I know my Ethan fell off the bed once and I was scared to death. However, all was fine!
hugs
Risa:)
