I'm preparing to lunch my new website soon, I know many of you follow this address but I hope you will take the leap to my new platform and the new approach I want to offer with my new blog.


I wanted to do a cleaner website  and more interactive one and more focused in helping you tell your stories and how to use Photoshop to do hybrid and digital projects.

Since I started with Social Work and changed my style of scrapping I've been noticing more and more that people are not writing that much in their pages or projects and I believe we have to play but also in my core I know scrapbooking is about documenting. Life goes so fast and we forget the day by day things very easily.

Mixed Media Card

Once I was a cardmaker, even though I gave 95% of my stamps away  I still have my girls because I love them they make me happy but I thought I would create cards that make my style now.
I color her with watercolor, the background is molding paste mixed with dylusions paint and watercolor. The bear is colored twice and one on top with dimensional adhesive.
I did this the size of a pocket I found at target 5x8.5 they sell plastic pockets at the office depart there.
My plan is to put this on my album about me I'm doing for my 40 th year which started but I will show that later I didn't put the album together yet and I want to create some printables.

Humility Art Journal Page

I've been doing a lot of art journaling really trying to tackle a handle of self discovery and deal with anxiety and use as a tool as I said before for inner work, it's my dream to use this to work with parents so I better try I already have some ideas and plans in the works for a group for parents. I got inspired by this new magazine a friend pointed out to me at Barnes & Noble called Happinez such a beautiful magazine such good content and beautiful art work. It's from Belgium so not the cheapest  of the magazines. But totally worth it.

As I said before also my art journaling is simple I don't have a lot of supplies so the background here was done with watercolor after I draw the girl I put a cover of clear gesso in the entire page. Than use watercolor to paint. Printed the words and use some stencils that I cut with my cricut. (I cut paper and use as stencil). I have one line stamp I found on sale at AC moore. That's it. This was made in Strathmore mixed media journal..

Art Journal Pockets

I discovered through this Free online class about Art Journal pocket cards. I thought was a fantastic idea to do some of truth cards from Brave GirlsClub later but I wanted to experiment with this free download from the class which is the paper background. I loved the process it was a lot of fun and love how they look. There is something about putting things in pockets.

Really loving this Dylusions paints, here I use them and signo White Pen the girl I did in watercolor and color pencil.

Art Journal life is simple

I don't think I posted this page I'm trying to accept more my handwriting on my pages because it's cheaper and fast to write what I want to write  I also used some stickers maybe I will be using more of that really love that option as well. I'm using dylusions pants here and some few paper stencils and the girl is my drawing.

I was Published !!

I am so honored that Stampington approached me based on layouts I submitted to write a article about evoking emotion in your pages.I couldn't believe it.

 To have this opportunity to show other people and encourage parents that Scrapbook is not just about chatty kids or science fairs and conversations about the first day of school.
Scrapbook stories are deeper than that. I believe in this.

My son doesn't have these stories but he have his own stories and I am grateful that digital scrapbooking open the path for me to put in my pages the magical being he is. And for me to be able to put in pages everything I always wanted in my pages.

Less Blame Love yourself art journal spread

I thought this spread was great to participate at the Cutshoppe challenge for August .
With a new cricut to use die cuts for art journal is my perfect way to save money, here I use one of the cuts glue to the page and the other one I used as a stencil.

I've been having fun with going back to art journal to work on inner self work. I'm doing some free classes at Willowing Ning site specially like the heart, art healing class.
Also wanted to embark and this week's theme of the Journal52 blog I just like themes related to inner work so this one fitted right in.
