Mixed Media Card

Once I was a cardmaker, even though I gave 95% of my stamps away  I still have my girls because I love them they make me happy but I thought I would create cards that make my style now.
I color her with watercolor, the background is molding paste mixed with dylusions paint and watercolor. The bear is colored twice and one on top with dimensional adhesive.
I did this the size of a pocket I found at target 5x8.5 they sell plastic pockets at the office depart there.
My plan is to put this on my album about me I'm doing for my 40 th year which started but I will show that later I didn't put the album together yet and I want to create some printables.

I still know how to do this : Happy Birthday Card

It seems I still know how to do this, I've been having fun using watercolors, they are cheap and wonderful. I stamped the flowers in watercolor paper and used watercolor pencils.

I made a card !

A miracle I'm posting a card here :) Well I still do them but more as I need thing than just for doing. I actually still have a box full of cards from the time I used to do just cards but when I  don't find for the 

As the person was turning 30 I wanted something more artistic. 

The background is a left over from my gelli plate prints which I need to play more but I need new acrylics my acryclics were too old and were giving me skin issues. The stamp is a old one from Michaels. 

I've been neglecting my table I've been really in a low in a creative side I feel I don't have energy or want anymore because I really have been stressed and maybe I'm stressed because I stopped I don't know but even my husband said I need to go back because makes me feel better so I need to push myself. If you let this feelings can drag you. I don't like people think that it is because my son which yes we work hard here at home but I had this feelings before having children but it was a long time since I had my last one I would say more than 5 years "I don't feel like doing anything phase and I'm stressed". 

So I will do a massive clean up and push myself !

What about you does that happens to you as well? I hope it's not just me.

Magnolia tags as rewards.

 I have been busy doing tags for my son's library I have been volunteering there twice a week now and saw that some classes have a really serious problem with behavior.
I thought I should try to help and maybe a "special tag" would be a good reward as a bookmark. So I put my beloved Magnolia Stamps to work. It's hard to be to think about boy tags though.

Play Hard Layout

I'm having fun using all my scraps and also getting them on my silhouette. I did a bunch of borders with scraps and when I need something I just crab from my stash.  Because my lack of space this is how is working best to me. I get one day to cut a bunch of things. Also love the print and cut accents here the play hard is a print and cut from the Silhouette Store. Stamps from Stamps of Life. And a quote from a chinese cookie from a dinner we had. :)

Love Layout

This layout is a example that you can use stamps to say that words  that you want without having to do journaling. And by now you're tired to know I Love Ali Edwards stamps probably 99% of my layouts have them now. I think they are so versatile what better than words?

Next week I'm going to do a live show to test a new room on ustream, to see if maybe that's a better option for everyone computers and to be easier to watch recorded shows.
