I believe we should not just tell stories that seems to pretend our life is a fairy-tale , but I also don't want my son to think that the pages are negative. So I always try to say this happened I was not happy but I always end saying to him why that is not who is : the negative part of the story, that negativity doesn't define him. But rather I'm telling him why he should look beyond that. Like I did .

One more layout while I was without power, it is amazing actually when you don't have anything else to do how you can actually journal more I should practice that more often to just not be in a hurry.

I want to see if I prepare something for Lucas teacher, I have a video I want to record but believe it not Lucas school just got power back this week and is teacher's parent conferences which means half day of school. But I'm glad when he's home ;)

Embrace who you Are Digital Layout

Well because Super Storm Sandy I was without power for 7 days but the Grace of God is good and I just pray that the ones that still struggle will have power soon. Meanwhile a advantage of digital scrapping is that you convenient  so while my computer was charged I could create some things. I like sometimes to do digital pages because I feel I can write so much more of what I want to say and about the memories it's hard on my paper pages to have that much of space to write maybe because I usually do 8.5 x 11 layouts and by the end of it your space is limited. But I don't feel limited anymore as long as I'm leaving the messages to him that I want I really don't mind if its paper or digital I still play with my paper so makes me happy the message is recorded no matter what. No more rules !

Real Life Digital Layout

I did a regular layout but still have to take pictures i'm having a stiff neck problem I think was my pillow so I have been with headaches non stop. Anyway I did this for a challenge for the bigpictureclasses festival that is going on which is free to join. And this one was about documenting real Life.
Supplies were a free template form Cathy Zielsky and other supplies were from Anna Aspnes.

Just the way you are - digital layout

A long time I didn't have time to sit and scrap, on National Scrapbook Day I got some digital kits, that is the best day to buy digital supplies  there is a a lot of great deals.
Anyway, this layout is about accepting my hair, finally I'm learning to deal with my curls and accepting my full hair and using good natural products.

I'm so proud of you Digital Layout

Today is Autism Awareness Day ! So the whole month will be dedicated to educate more than ever at least to me. Lucas is on Spring Break and a little sick this week so not much time but I wanted to do this page.As you all know I'm doing a fundraiser and some people already started to donate I'm so grateful for each and everyone that is donating again any amount seriously help and show the support. Very emotional day today as Lucas went for his first day in school, he didn't cry but I did. :)

Hybrid Mini Album- Life

I like to do hybrid albums they allow me to create my own papers or use in this case artsy papers that are hard to find and print them in different textures.

I printed these papers in paper and in printable canvas.

Digital sentiments are not just for digital layouts we can recolor and use it a lot in scrapbooking or mini albums.

December Daily 2011

Hi everyone,well every knows that at this time of the year December Daily Project starts. If you don't know what this is read here at Ali's Blog . But I always thought was a little overwhelming to me to a paper project life this specially with the changes and the many things that I have to do with Lucas. So I still wanted to document that so I decided to do digital where I would just put the pictures in the overlays and that's it print at the end and its done.
I decided to use Ali Edwards 2011 December Daily Overlays.
