Once I was a cardmaker, even though I gave 95% of my stamps away I still have my girls because I love them they make me happy but I thought I would create cards that make my style now.
I color her with watercolor, the background is molding paste mixed with dylusions paint and watercolor. The bear is colored twice and one on top with dimensional adhesive.
I did this the size of a pocket I found at target 5x8.5 they sell plastic pockets at the office depart there.
My plan is to put this on my album about me I'm doing for my 40 th year which started but I will show that later I didn't put the album together yet and I want to create some printables.
I'm having a lot of fun again playing with watercolors and pens, I don't have space or don't want to buy things as I used to have so my goal is to do art journals that are simple so a good watercolor set will do it and few stamps This is one I kept from the many I gave away. From Suzi Blue .

I added to this mixed media page I used Just Jamie Mixed Media Club January kit. I decided to subscribe to push myself to do more mixed media and this size is simple and fast.
This is a 12x12 canvas I did for Lucas former teacher she left Friday! A very bitter sweet moments. I thought that I gave her other gifts before necklaces, ready made gifts and as she was leaving I thought the better was to give a handmade gift with some special words related to her new journey. The words says: " Embrace the now, admire possibility , embark in a adventure of everyday life".
Bitter sweet moment I still going to see her as she now is going to work private with ABA therapy for Lucas but I would rather have her everyday with him. But how do you show enough gratitude to a person that helped so much your son? So hopefully this shows I'm grateful and I care about you. I wish her all the best She is a example of a real dedication to Autistic kids and what is to be a Special Needs teacher.

I've doing some art journal but not having a lot of time to post, recently I got a allergy reaction to some acrylic paint yep, I think because they were old, I just hold after the medication when I play that doesn't happen again.
Here is spring break so week with the boy at home.
Well I found them I remembered as soon as I relaxed about it. These are tab cards kind of like 4x6.
I did a video but I have to edit first.
Today is my son's birthday he is 4 today ! I can't believe he is 4 and how much he accomplished and helped me to be a better mom. I'm so proud of him. For the first time we will do a party and I'm going to school also to celebrate with him today. Taking cupcakes, songs and his favorite book now to read for him.

So first time I heard about Gelli Arts printing plates and saw a video on their website I thought was the coolest but was waiting to the budget as they are not that cheap.
So I waited for Christmas and they did a free shipping sale and I got the 8x10 one.
I have to say it blew my mind away !
It's awesome !

I did this flat 4x6 canvas to my son's teacher I hope she likes it. It's always hard for me to give this to people that are not used to see mixed media work although Target now has some canvas that remember the style of mixed media.
This is my last post for the year I'm excited that I decided to change my style for the next year to give me more time to do more mixed media work and tutorials for my channel which this year I didn't have more time I think because my focus on project life. I will continue project life but I will do partially digital and some scrapbooking digital so I have more time to do tutorials and do more minis, and play more with my journal.
I' ve been working really hard with my son and studying and have some new professionals helping me and I'm about to form a support group for parents and I want also write more for my other blog so
that has been taking my time together with some education and teaching techniques and autism workshops I have been attending this year. It's been a new field that I'm enjoying so much and I'm really excited to learn and to help him.
So I want to thank you for you patience and for sticking with my blog and your understanding. I know that maybe my blog changed a lot from what used to be but I hope I can inspire and help crafters no matter if they are card makers or scrapbookers or mixed media. Because I myself look many different kinds of blog that expand our creativity.

I did a video saying I went to buy the Dylusions Journal and I have to say this thing works great with spray inks and I loved the size and I just realized that it's the same size of her large stencil so you can fit the stencil in the whole page.

Another thing I got shocked was this new pen from Sharpie poster board water based pen in white how white they are and how nice they write

Well I've been having some back pain again, due to my lack of exercising my PT told me if I stop my muscle will be tight again, while Lucas was on vacation I completely stopped so now to sit on my table or computer is a pain but I"m back to exercising hopefully soon I will get better.
Anyway, my birthday is closer and as I think about my craft goals one of the things that I feel I need and want to do is more things to document myself and my feelings and my life. I want to start to art journal more.
I was invited to be a guest of a new workshop that is going to start at Mixed Media workshop ning group. If you don't know this website is a great gathering for mixed media lovers.
There is a new workshop starting Enjoy the Process with videos and I will show a video of how I did this canvas.

Autism Awareness Day is approaching this year I decided to do my fun raiser to Lucas School and his Autism Program. So I will be doing many things here to try to raise money for the Classroom.

I will be doing crafts to sell and videos for the fundraiser. Please share so we can help not just Lucas but his classmates, and the Autism program.
My therapies sessions are coming to a end as my son goes to school I receive therapy sessions from the same service that provides him therapies. I did a little get together to thank all these women and did for my social worker this canvas as a way to say thank you. The canvas is 4x4 .
Hi everyone decided to finally get my hands dirty again, trying to back to swing of things with things I used to do although the schedule will be pretty busy till end of February.
But here a 4x6 I did using some of Paperbag studios stamps.

I won a digital art journal class from Jessica Sprague and I'm having fun not having time to play but it's always great to learn more. I love this and love the reality of it not really different from a real one I made but requires no mess or space.
