Two years ago a conversation went like this over the phone:
-Jana are close to come?.....he cried....I miss you ...
- Dad ...I will be there in the summer in one month, as soon they let me go ....I hold myself not to cry so much...
everything is going to be ok, dad
-crying he said ....long time I dont see you ,...miss you Jana.....
3 days later he died .....
I miss him too......
Saudades= More than miss someone in Portuguese a word that has deeper meanings than miss, usually used to people that we love or acts we love in deeper meaning and we don't have anymore.

Picture printed in fabric for ink jets, my father was a bird collector we had a lot in our home, so this is for him his birdies he always loved,,, and yes my father was from Navy.

Oh Jana! I'm sorry that was your last conversation with your dad. My grandfather who raised me died 20 years ago and I still cry today when I talk about all the good memories I've had with him so I understand your sadness.
