Learning so Fast Layout

Hi everyone
I got inspired but June challenge that was going on on Paperclipping community and decided to participate. Most of die cuts here actually all of them were done with the Silhouette the butterflies as well.
I love the borders on the silhouette store so from time to time I just grab long pieces of scraps and cut borders.
And stamps from Ali Edwards
Here are some close ups

The journaling lined stamp is from Stamps of Life., the clock is rub on from Hambly studios.

Scrap with your Scraps #2

Here we are again with another Layout with scraps step by step I hope this is helpful for those of you
that have trouble working with scraps because we all have them.
This is my pile
The colors of the photo had orange and red so I knew I had to grab some orange, red, green and purple. I use my color wheel to know that. Maybe I will do a video soon showing my process with the color wheel.
Starting to have a foundation. In this moment I put my picture on and off several times so I can see how I like it, when I'm happy than I glue the foundation papers.
This was the final foundation the only thing I added as you can notice is a think strip of paper just to give a anchor to the page.
Starting to get some embellishments, I have this felt flowers forever and need to start to use them.
And here is the final layout with just some extra touches and journaling.
Hope you are using your scraps if you are doing something similar please share in the comments so I can check it out. And thanks for the ones that always leave comments but I can never answer because blogger doesn't save emails. Maybe one day

Scrap with your Scraps #1

I decided to not buy more paper till I use at least 50% of what I have, I don't have drawers and drawers of paper but  some that I have , they are with me for a long time so I decided to start using them and also my scraps as of course they will increase as I'm using more paper.
So I thought would be fun to start this to help with those that are beginners and/or struggle with scraps.
I start collecting scraps that I think has the colors that go with my pictures with the help of my best friend the Color wheel. Yes I use a color wheel.
Next start to brainstorm positions here I used some fiskars punch and Martha Stewart punch.
Next some more layering to bring some blue from the photo and red. Notice this are all small strips of paper with the exception of the very last layer which a wider piece.
Embellishments now with some more left over from the pieces from the middle. And a tag.
To repeat the design and keep the same flow buttons again and this stamp which I don't remember from who it is such a long time I have it.

Now journaling with one of my favorite stamps from the Stamp of Life lines2journal
And one more cluster on the top and last but not least the title.
I hope you enjoyed let me know if this is something you want to see more often. Thanks

Mixed Media Canvas

I did this canvas some time ago it's 6x6 but I think I forgot to post, I think this size of canvas is my favorite I feel much more confortable working in it. Things seems to work better than with a bigger canvas.
I had a lot of fun doing it, I'm doing a series for my close friends.
I hope they'll like.

It's ok to Play by yourself Layout

Hi everyone
I hope your weather is nice like the one we are having this week here in NJ.
I bring a very simple layout but colorful I love this collection from Echo Park called Playground. It's no secret I like to work with kits, specially now with my busy schedule  they make things easier and faster for us.
Although I decided that would be the last paper collection I would buy till I can use at least 50% of the papers I have, not that I have that much I just have a 12x12 cropper hopper paper holder for Pattern PaPer but still many of these papers I don't use a long time and that is a good challenge for me.
I know I've been neglecting my you tube channel but I will hopefully come back with some videos and tips for you.
Let me know things you would like to see that I could help.
I also used one stamp from Ali Edwards from her stamp club at Technique Tuesdays.
I hope you have a great weekend.
