Baby Boy Card

Hi everyone,
The weather have been so bad in central NJ that is making me more lazy, it's been dark and raining non stop.
My friend that came to visit asked me to do a card for a friend that is having a baby boy and of course I could not say no. It's always good when I have a chance to show new people the art of hand made cards, maybe for us that are crafters seems natural but there is a huge amount of people that don't know this art.
It was funny to show her my mini albums and see the other side of what people think, the really small albums she liked but she would comment: I liked but the pictures are so small...made me think hummmmm if I do this to be focused on the picture maybe my children in 20 years will say why mom did this albums so small we can barely see the pictures. Make kind of sense. I know some of you may say well you have to do what you like : that's true but when the album is for my son or for someone else no tiny albums anymore.
Anyway, the card:
I used papers from Making Memories vintage findings as well the bingo card, the stamps are from Flourishes.

I have another girl I know having a boy, and I will help with the baby shower so expect some projects in near future.

I wanted me and Carlos to write wishes for Lucas, so I designed Journaling for that, and you can download the pdf comes with 3 journaling cards, wishes from mommy, wishes from daddy and wishes for you. You can download it HERE.

Also, I wanted to do some balloons, so I created a svg file that if you have SCAL , you can use to cut once you import the file to scal use break apart to make the 2 ballons separate. One of the ballons on SCAL I added number 1 .

Gift Bag Topper + News for Cricut users

Hi everyone, I've been busy with some domestic stuff and receiving some guests from OK tomorrow so exciting to see some friends. Anyway, I did a mini album to give my friend and this is a bag to give the mini album, I did a bag topper you can see my old tutorial here with something similar.
The top flower was embossed with Distress Embossing Powder Jar-Dusty Concordand the stamp set I used was this one

Together with some chipboard and sticker for the sentiment.

Card and some Ebook tips

Hi everyone , we had a nasty and scary weekend winds of up to 62 mph crazy, today going out I saw a lot of destruction, tomorrow I will take a picture of a ginormous tree that I saw today down in Princeton.
Simple card today, I'm doing several things at once and not news I 'm slow in all of them. My friend Risa gave me this stamped image I forgot from where she is from, I colored with Prisma Pencils and Gamsol. The Thank you Stamp is from Michaels.

Recently I got this one, it's really a deal for who likes sketches, like me ! What I really liked about it is that the author gives variation in 8 1/2 x11 formats, which is the format I prefer to scrap.

Mini Album + Create Scrapbooks tomorrow

I did this mini album for a friend from Ok that is coming to visit next week, it's going to be pretty exciting to see her and her husband.
So, she knows nothing about scrapbooking so I did a pretty simple album for her to put her pictures and tags along the way for her to write something about the pictures. Very simple embellishments so she doesn't get overwhelmed, recording is all about the pictures.

Tomorrow we have Create Scrapbooks in a new Day time, 12:00PM EST (noon).

Fabric Layout

Hi Everyone ,
We had a great little party for Lucas, he had a great time but didnt want to eat his cake, he was too busy wanting to go cruise the room, he barely wanted to eat. He didn't want to be confined at his high chair.

Well this is fabric layout, I've been inspired by Donna Downey new prima line, I love her style and I love fabric as well I just wish I had more time to play with my sewing machine and space really. If i had a table just for my sewing machine I would use a lot more I'm sure.
I used for the layout base this canvas, and cut to 8 1/2 x 11.

I did some washed acrylic, then some foam stamping and used some punchanellas.
And some Prima Iron

Took the Fabric word dream and used glimmer mist. The crochet flowers I did wrote in strips of paper and glimmer misted.

Free Word art , PSE playing + some news

Time is something missing this week for me to create things. I guess I got a little disorganized and lazy this week and I'm preparing myself to Lucas Birthday Saturday, this week has been emotional to me I can't believe he's going to be 1. So I was playing with PSE and my Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet.
