I love this shot I was able to shoot at Carlos while we were in FL, I used the Basic Grey's Doily, then I stapled at a white background and used some glimmer mist. I'm in love with this journal book from Little Yellow Bicycle 

 

It comes with all this nice journaling tags and some like this one help you with ideas to  journal.

I used also the French Flea Market  Die cut Accessory kit for the title and for a scalloped strip that I used on top a Webster Pages Lace , gorgeous that I glimmered mist to change the color. And Jenny  Bowling Chipboard buttons. 

This layout is rather simple I wanted the picture and the journaling to be the focus. I've used this die cut paper, tag from Cosmo Cricket earth love die cuts. Anything can be  rub on.

2page Layout + Review

 

Hi everyone finally I was able to create something in paper, this layouts were pretty fast because they are very simple.

This is part of my 8x8 album for Lucas that is a more simple one, without journaling, that would be here in my living room or that I can carry around. Just basically photos of his month by month growth.

And I'm so so late in this album , I will try to catch because the pages come really fast.

I saw this contest of a Review for Paperclipping RoundTable and thought would give it a shot, anyway is fun to give our insight and have people listen to our constructive ideas.

I've been listening to it since started and so far the podcast has been great to me. 

This one in particular was not my favorite one, and I will point out somethings I think would increase the quality.

I think in this particular show 69 minutes talking about tools it was too much. As said in a previous show one of the things that most prevent people of scrapbooking  is the huge amount of tools.
So it would be better to  see podcasts that  talk about creativity, journaling things that would help scrapbookers to improve their scrapbooking and non scrapbookers to maybe start scrapbooking.
The show had Renee Pearson as a guest,  one of the best digital scrapbooking teachers in my opinion, but they took no advantage to talk about the growth that digital scrapbooking has been having, the surging of paper like digital scrapbooking very clean and simple , about hybrid. I think hopefully in the future they talk more about that.

I would like more time for news. Nancy  Nally always have some interesting news as a example on this episode she gave the scoop about Splitcoast Stampers been sold again.

More diversity of topics that would appeal not just for scrapbookers but also about card makers. Card making today is a huge industry full of interesting insights and fierce competition happening but not many people talk about that part of the craft industry.

Overall is good to have a podcast out there  that is  willing to talk about the craft industry with interesting guests and giving us a a broader view of our hobby.

Journey to Happiness Digi Page

 

 It's really nasty here in NJ, cold, raining really bad.

I'm trying to find time to create some paper stuff while that I want to see if I give one more step to finish my pregnancy digi book I want to make. I'm planning to print these 8x8  and bind with my Unibind.

I used this kit from CreateWings Designs another designer that I like a lot, she makes more dimensional digital items for more artful pages.

More Word Art FREE

I have a couple more word arts for you today, I want to see if soon I record a video tutorial for my youtube page , of my photo folder, with this cold I didn't make anything. But I'm getting better and ready to start creating. 

I'm getting busier starting this week, it's a week of change, my husband received a very good proposal to go to another company so he is starting new job today in New York. That's going to change a lot things for me. Because he was the one that fed Lucas first in the morning so I could sleep a little bit more or go to the gym, because he worked like 10 min. from home. And he always helped me with bath time and taking Snoopy to party first in the morning. So now all on me. what that means? Less time. And Lucas now just naps once a day my good 2 naps a day is gone. So I will have to adjust and be more practical with my time.

Anyway, for now I hope you enjoy the word art

Playing with Tablet + Free Word Art

My  DH gave to me something I wanted for quite some time for valentines. 

And I'm having a lot of fun playing with it and the possibilities for my hybrid and digital layouts are endless.

So as result of my playing I did a word art , it's in PNG right now soon  I will post the brush also.

New Create Scrapbooks Show and U stream postponed

Today we have Create Scrapbooks and it's all about stamping, we will talk about using things around the house to use as stamps, using foam stamps and different kinds of stamps and I will also talk about digital stamps and show you how to use them to color in PSE as I did this Edward.
This is a digital stamp from the Greeting Farm  that was colored on PSE.

Hi everyone

How was your valentines day? !

Well I had a  lot of planning but I'm sick again with a cold but this time with a nasty cough :(

Yesterday could not sleep till 1:30 am coughing I hate coughing I would prefer running nose. ahhh

And here in Central NJ is snowing again  today , yes more snow its been practically snowing the whole week.

Anyway

Soon I get better I plan a tutorial on these photo folders. I've been down because this cold.

For the folders I'm still using my kit from Coordinate Collections and  the stamps used on these were SU.

Blog Hop Layout and Mini Album

Hi everyone
It's time for Everything  Scrapp'n Blog Hop.
This mini album I did to document the days we left Oklahoma  we went to NJ by car  because snoopy, our friends did a last good by party so it was fun.
I 've used the Early Bird Cosmo Cricut 6x6 pad

Maya Road Scroll Frame chipboard album, which the cover comes with a embossed design so I painted with red acrylic paint.On the cover I used the Pink Paislee Fabric Flower, and clear cut shapes from little yellow bicycle .

 

 My Minds Eyes Grow Paper, Prima Animal Bash Paper I used the top portion that have the clouds,Fetching  chipboard alpha, and the alphas on the Fetching sticker book.

Photo Holder 1+ award

 

Hi everyone I have finished another photo holder, sending this one to Brazil,  almost every month we send a bunch of pictures of Lucas to family there. I'm using for both projects the kit from Coordinate Collections I believe kits are a fast and easy way to do matching projects without  worries.

 

This is a photo folder, I will do a tutorial on this one , there is many out there but this one I made to fit 4x6 photos. The stamps used here are from My favorite Things.

Many cards and Flowers

Hi Everyone,

Aren't you glad is Friday ?! I know I am although we are waiting a snow storm here, and this week I was not feeling well but I'm getting much better now.

Yesterday we had a amazing show at Create Scrapbooks, here some things I did:

  

We did 3 kinds of roses, this one is using dryer sheets

 

  

We did cards based on the a sketch, that will uploaded to our photo album from 02/04 if you want to make your card based on the sketch I've used.

  

And we talked about that if you're not a stamper you can make scrap cards  also.

Two Cards and CS tomorrow

This first one was using CTMH stamps, and the paper from stash so I don't remember what company is.

 

And this one is from studio G, this new designs on Michael are really great. For the ones that don't know Studio G stamps are just $1 at Michaels, and they really improved their quality.

Coffee Filter Flowers

 

Hi everyone, sorry I have been slow in updating things, I've didn't feel well this weekend, and still I'm not  a 100% ok. I even went to the ER this weekend but they could not find anything wrong with a lot of tests I was feeling really dizzy and with headaches. They said maybe could be dehydration, okkk! I thought I drank a lot of water, but anyway.

Things are getting better , if you signed up for my newsletter you probably got the link for this flowers they were made with coffee filter paper the red one I glimmer misted . The white is made with a different method than the red. I think they turned out really good.

It seems I've been very luck this couple of days, I was able to win a prize from the Bluemoonscrapbooking blog , check this out: I won a new Tim Holtz Sizzix die..autographed LOL

I don't  care about his autograph LOL but to win this die wow one less to buy LOL
