I did this bookmark for my art group friend together with the slice cake box it was her birthday so we all prepared a little something for her.
First stamped the background , then used Fired Brick distress ink , then embossed the little butterflies and added sentiment.

Piece of Cake Box

I bought this template to give to one of my friend from the Art group, with chocolate kisses, for now it's in the grab bag but I think you can wait till next month to buy separated, but the grab bag has more value. Here I use the PSD file for PSE that is included , it also comes with pdf but I wanted to customize the paper, because the friend nows how to paint so I wanted something more artsy and feminine and this digital paper from paperbagstudios is one of my favorites.
Later I will show you a video how to use this kind of templates on Photoshop.

We received a call from vet, Snoopy tested positive for 18 things plus food allergy , I don't know specifics yet because they will send the results so we can check what he has allergy to.
Now we are going to give him shots, which It was funny me and Carlos told ourselves at the same time : you do it ! lol

Layouts and Mini Album

Hi everyone , I'm here again for Everything Scrapp'n Blog Hop with some projects. But first let me tell you some amazing products from CHA are beginning to arrive, check it out.

This layout I did with Hambly Dandelions paper is a very thick paper great to work with, because the color is so strong you don't need to do much about it. Matted my pictures with a paper from MME Bloom Collections and used over he pictures this great Negative Strips from Creative Imaginations


For this layout I did the collage and journaling in PSE, very simple to the point, if you have a great paper and story what else do you need.
Fetching - Confident paper from Pink Paislee (I'm getting addict to Pink Paislee lol)
Fetching Fabric Flowers the store also has the pinkish version.

This mini album I did using this great Jenni Bowlin French Porch Mini Paper Pack, they are also great for cardmakers and ready to assemble for minis because they come in a pack of 4x4.
So I used coasters, and for extra journaling space I've used the Front Porch Journaling Cards that goes together, makes things so easy, and the paper pack comes with plenty I did this mini album and still have a lot left.

Miss you card

Another image I received, very cute little girl, these images put me in the mood for cards. The sentiment is a Michael stamp. I colored with Gamsol. And the little fabric butterfly from stash.

I don't know if you guys noticed my tracker, but I'm on my journey to loose weight, and waking up early everyday and going to the gym before my husband goes to work.
There is (in my opinion) no secret to loose weight : control what you eat and exercise.
I've seen some blogs of women loosing like 10 lbs a month replacing meal with shakes and stuff, yeah works but who is going to leave on shakes forever?
I cutting my carbs and exercising and doing a lot of abs exercises and believe no one hates more this than me but as I say to my friends before I could afford to be lazy, I didn't have to worry about weight. But now my unhappiness with myself is bigger than being lazy.

But I'm glad I'm getting there.

My friend Risa gave some fabulous images and decided to color them, a long time I didn't seat and colored images, it requires time, which now is short. But It's indeed so relaxing. This little girl is fun to color, I think she is from Whiff of Joy, you can see around a lot. Because I get tired to see same images around I don't buy them lol.
Do you notice that? when ppl begin to do one company soon you just see that in all blogs, at the end I'm already tired of the images and I didn't even have them lol , crazy !
Ok But I confess I'm addicted to Magnolias yeah yeah you know that. But, to my excuse I began to use them and there was no stores selling, not even many ppl knew them. And I still with them faithful.
Anyway, I've colored the image with my old and good prisma and gamsol.

Cupcake?

Hey everyone, thank you for you kind comments yesterday, have to do this fast because I have guests to have lunch here today so I'm cooking !

Found this cute digital template to do a cupcake I want to send to a little girl that is doing birthday this week. She has a pdf also included in case you don't have PSE. This is a personal use template.
I used this 2 yummy papers from Pink Paislee
Sweet Nothings and Cupcake Cutie, the dos were made with 3D fabric paint.

Today is my Blogversary ! Yeah wow 2 years can you believe it?! I can't.

When I look back and think how much I've learned and how much this community gave back to me. I really hope I could help as many people with my videos, I wanted to do this to show people we can do this ! I thought I was not creative at all, but with help of this craft community I'm getting there. But the most important I've learned to follow my own instinct, what I need instead of what I want, what I want to leave as a legacy and what makes me happy.
This is what I hope for in my blog and my videos and classes that I just help people to get things started and from there take the lead. And I'm so glad with what people have shared with me, projects they made and gifts that made others happy.

I want to thank all my followers and subscribers for being here with me.
Thank you to all my 975 subscribers on Youtube as of today ! Thank you !
Thank you to all my video workshop students who have been supporting me, and help me to bring more ideas even now without a job to sustain my hobby.
Thank you for the ones that supported me since the beginning and became my friends, people I don't even know in person but already are part of my life and my family with their RAKs, gifts or sometimes a simple chat.

There is so many things I still want to learn and document and share , there is still things I think I suck! But we have to keep trying and believe we are all creative !

Fabric Paper Mini

I was glad to get my sewing machine and play with some different papers and paint. This mini can be a journal or can be a mini album for pictures. It till be soon on my Etsy.

By the way this the papers are imported papers I bought on Paper Source and they put in their blog the picture the Princeton Store they opened. Cool.

I received this week unexpected a great RAK from my friend Risa, with such warming words.

Lucas is 5 months today ! All I can say is wow I can believe in this 5 months our lives changed so much and it seems it was yesterday !

Layout - Us

I had this picture that I wanted to put down and write some things about it, and thought would be nice to participate in Page Maps sketch contest. I love their sketches which is great to help you to have a clue where to start if you don't know how. I like them to give be a base but usually when I use them I ended up changing quite a bit. But because this one is a challenge I try to follow as much as I could.

Some of the circles were punched with this paper from Humbly. The mat for the picture is using one of these Flirty notecards from Prima, they come in a nice box.Papers: Pink Paislee and Chipboard letters BG

Who said dogs don't dream? & a card

Hi everyone, hoping everybody had a great weekend, here the Saturday was gorgeous we went to have a walk in dowtown Princeton, while there we saw a band that was playing at the square, Lucas enjoyed, it was a hot, but not that much. I visited a brand new Paper Source store that opened there ! Oh my I love that store I got so shocked when I saw they were going to open here.

Snoopy didn't get better actually he scratched so much himself he got hurt , so Carlos took him to vet again and we decided to do a allergy test so we can give him the appropriate meds.

while we wait for this he back to the medicine we don't like but at least he is a little better.

This medicine have side effects so it's not good for a long period of time can give the dog diabetes and we don't want that. The test is expensive but we thought we could give him the appropriate treatment.

The background of this card is fabric that I used distress inks, I gave the fabric (muslim) a coat of gesso than used distress inks, this was a scrap from a project I was doing last week.
