Layout for frame and announcement

This layout does not have a lot of journaling for the fact I will frame it. As a project I decided to change my boring frames with just pictures, with frames with my style. So, as I do that I wil let you know.

The paper is a beautiful Hambly Paper mine is Yellow on white but they also have overlay.

At 3 weeks Layout

This Mommy & Me Prima collection is just darling, so it's nice when the paper has some glitter but is not overwhelming.

The picture I shown here before I edit on Photoshop, if you want to see all my pictures on PS that I play just look for the tag on the right side , Photoshop playing. The word at is from Ali Edwards.
I don't know if you 've noticed I got on twitter, so even if you don't have a twitter deck you can follow me online , it's fun t share things as we find,so I liked a lot.And to me it's been a kind of journaling.

Ok the picture is not great, but I think you can have a idea, I've used some papers from CK kit of the month , the baby kit, and My Mind's Eye Paper.

This layout doesn't have the main story I want to tell because I'm preparing another one with my full journal to put the 3 of them together. This goes on the big 12x12 album with Lucas first year.

After a though day yesterday, that let me really exhausted, moments like this , makes you look back and think:"...ok it is a good thing...it's going to be ok...and I just love you..."

Felt Cover Mini Album Video Tutorial

Measurements:

Felt : 2 - 4 1/16 x 4 1/16
paper to adhere the felt (it's going to be the base of the cover )
4 1/16 x 8 1/4 score on 4" on each side so you have a 1/4" spine
inside pages 4x8 and score in the middle.

Love this Layout

After a couple of gorgeous days, it's raining and dark today, and Lucas seems that he doesn't want to nap today, just of course if I pick him up. He is 6 weeks today, it goes fast ! As he is awake , I was able to record a mini album tutorial for tomorrow, stay tuned !
I did this layout a time ago, just now was able to post.
Cut out this paper from Sassafras, the felt buttons from this Etsy store. The crochet flower was handmade by me ;) yes I do know make flowers but who has time now?
and Mini bingo card. The glitter sticker is from Target line.

I went to my 6 weeks postpartum appt. Finally I can drive now, he gave me the ok to have a normal life lol, although with some prescriptions because some issues. This is the point: issues, I dream with the day I will feel completly normal I guess that will arrive one day right? At least some things as soon I stop breastfeeding, so till then feeling some " issues" .
But glad at least externally everything is ok. Now just 15 lbs to loose, I never in my life had to loose that weight. I guess exercise here I come.

The Circle Layout

Hello Friends !

Here is another hybrid layout, well I never really stop to explain for the ones that don't know what is Hybrid, and I saw some people were confused about that.
Hybrid projects (cards, layouts,mini albums...) are the projects that you combined digital elements with traditional elements (like paper, embelies and so on). So this case I 've started with this in my Photoshop
The Base of the layout is 6x6 I used elements and paper from Matahati Designs, the photo frame is from Oscraps
From there I used a 8 1/2 x11 and used
My Mind's Eyes bloom and Grow collection

I want to see if I color some of my stamps to do some cards, but time it's something really precious now ;)

This week I got my last issue of Simple Scrapbooks magazine, for the ones that scrapbook, probably know , the magazine is gone because of the financial crises, so sad I liked that magazine a lot. And the last issue is pretty amazing with many good articles so , if you like scrapbooking and you don't have their subscription (that now will go to CK) buy one, at least we help the economy.

Photoshop Playing

I got this texture from this blog, on PSE a technique using layer mask to change background, pretty cool, right? Love this technique. Lucas is a month and 3 days and he 's already out of newborn size diapers :( is he growing already?
One thing will be good, and he can sleep 3 hours at a time :)

Paper and Digi Layouts

I bought this great digital kit that Ali Edwards did in collaboration with other artists, and proceeds go to Autism Speaks, because its great to help and I love Ali Digital Design, for the amount of stuff is actually a fab price, so if you want get start on Hybrid comes with a lot of templates from Ali like this one. (the template comes blank and you choose papers and designs).
I don't know if I talked about this but there is this site called Blurb, that prints books cheaper than Shutterfly, I'm loving it comes with a easy software (they have mac and pc) and there is a video tutorial there showing how do to the books, and you don't need to do digi like I'm making they have templates or just make a photo book. Really Cool

We had a challenge at Coordinate Collections (my monthly kit) to use scraps, what a better way to use scraps then to use your punches? So I did just that, couple of punches and marvy uchida scalloped square punch. And Voila !Used one of my pictures that I played in PSE, that says almost everything I wanted to say. This is a 8 1/2 x 11 layout.

Today is Lost Day ! Hope Lucas let me watch it ! :)

Gate Fold Card

Some people think, wow you have a newborn and is creating cards ! Of course not people! :)
I don't create everyday, do you?
Even when I did not have a child, but when I seat on my table I do a lot, so I usually have stuff for a week, let's me tired if I go and try to do things everyday I need some time off to think about new stuff.

Yesterday Oprah's show was to me, lol it was about Secret lives of Moms, and so many things related to me, funny to see all moms feel and go through the same stuff, but nobody talks about that.

Some creations for a new challenge

Today I have a new challenge at Everything Scrapp'n Blog for a chance to win the big $90 prize from MME . So check it out to see what is all about.

I'm going to talk about my creations.
The Layout I did with MME Papers and die cut of journaling is from the Bloom & Grow collections, added some glimmer mist at the background. The butterflies are from cricut, and heat embossed the stamp from Tim Holtz collection.
The picture I posted here before I did in photoshop.
I used SU die, and Fox Quickutz die, stamp : TAC Papers MME


The flowers sizzix die and the card is made with a retired sizzix die file folder, I found on Ebay, the image is digital stamp, colored with sharpies.

New Digi and some other stuff.

I did this layout to print and put in a frame in Lucas Room, found this site that prints all sorts of sizes and has a very low shipping fee.

Also for my newsletter subscribers, I'm a little late but I'm sending this weekend. During the day it;s been really hard to do something. And I'm really feeling exhausted, I think not having anyone to help does make a huge difference, that's why I'm so glad today is Friday and my DH will be here to help me on the weekend.

3x3 Mini Album

This mini 3x3 I did to send to my sister in Brazil, you can see the tutorial here.
I'm used the Bloom Paper Kit, the stamps were The Angel Company also the 3x3 sheet protectors were also from TAC.
