I'm very happy to say I got a Hybrid CT Position at Matahati Designs For this project I used the Journaling things. I know many people specially outside USA don't have access to buy a lot of stamp, and I think this is a practical and nice way to do a fast and pretty card, I just love to play with different stuff. Probably the site suffered a attack on that particular link, trojans are not sent by computers, but they are sometimes in links. I use Mac which there is not virus of this kind for Mac, that's why to me everything was ok. Many times can be IE because IE has thousands of bugs that get virus without people even know. After Playing with PSE, it's fun to use the pictures in a layout, I enlarged this picture to the entire extension of the 8 1/2 paper, you can't see but this flocked paper from 7 Gypsies is just so beautiful and touchy, loved this paper. MM paper, and stamps from Unity Stamps. The little bird I don't remember is from my stash.

Today weather was crazy 7 am was snowing ! Crazy Crazy, yesterday beautiful weather and today was snowing ! To me actually doesn't matter and I can't get out anyway.
Sorry, for the bad shot, I did this card a while back and took the shot real fast because I needed to mail it. But I think you can have an idea. The image was given to me by my friend Rita, this is a Gina K stamp. I used a sticker on the tack for the sentiment. Coloring made with sharpies. While on sofa in my ice packs and between Lucas sleeping time, I can't do much other than play with my PSE. I had a Episiotomy after more than 3 hours of pushing Lucas was going really slow, well I didn't read much about it because I really thought I would not need that. But God has other plans. In that moment is whatever is safer for you baby, the doctor had to help me out a little, but after all settle and done. I feel a lot of pain and discomfort in my body right now, not just because of that but because other common things of a natural birth.
I'm still trying to have patience and accept my body as it is now, and trying to be patient with discomfort and pain. I really felt crappy, now just a little crappy :) and that gave a little baby blues. But I'm better now, healing.
So, it will take 4/6 weeks for me to feel better about myself and maybe improve my mood. But I thank the blessings:
Having a very good baby that has been very consistent
And a very helpful husband that has been with me through this period and helping me in everything, even the things you wish they didn't have to. I'm so happy to have him here, and, like in the past, since we got here in this country. We will do this together just me and him, and I'm so glad because it make us grow together.

RAK ! Look what I got in the mail from my friend Rita , she does wonderful cards, and she remembered me and gave me the most beautiful mug, if you don't know I collect mugs,she gave me a awesome one from Vegas. Rita thank you my friend. Blogland: We meet wonderful people.
This mini was a long in my mind since I saw some papers at PaperBag Studios. Because some of their digital line reminds me a lot hand painted , touchy feel paper, and almost like a art journal. Because my lack of time to play with mixed media after pregnancy, I felt this line was perfect. This is to show how digital can help us do great paper projects. And by the fact that is cheaper, and you can play around in PSE and change things a lot. Anyway , I will talk about some pages and put a complete slide show at the end with all pictures.
Here I 've used a element to print and add as decoration, usually kits comes with many png elements , but sometimes not all work for hybrid depends on what you want, I always look for things that can be used and printed on my layouts or mini albums like this darling house that completely looks as a collage. Why buy overlays if we can do our own? I had this digital paper, and printed in transparency and sized for the the same size in the mini album, also another way to do great overlays is using brushes or even png images. And print on transparency. Here is another example that I've used these png elements and printed on transparency, I changed the color a little to fit the overall of the album, cut and adhered with diamond glaze. Another elements are these canvas buttons they really look live printed on canvas to give me more texture I printed on sticker paper from Avery. Also I resized on PSE to fit my 1 1/4 punch from SU. I think its a great solution also to use on cards as sentiments.
Doesn't this look like painting, you have to see it close I loved these collections, because gave a artsy look to it. The green one I've printed on white cardstock and the red one on sticker paper. The heart is also element from a kit. Considering Ruby kit, Darcy Kit Journal Mats you can print as they are or at your text on PSE.
I hope I 've inspired you to experiment with some hybrid, remember that you don't need PSE to work with png images they open fine on any word processor , check my videos to see a tutorial on that. Here is full album

Things are overwhelmed here for me not much because of Lucas, he is such a good baby, but I'm feeling a lot the results of child birth and I've been in a lot of pain. So, I have to be patience and give myself time to heal.
Probably, my posts will be sporadic but I have some projects made that here and there will pop-up till things get better.

Stamp: Magnolia Stamps colored with sharpie markers.
It's been 4 years on March 3rd, and unfortunately seems like yesterday, I've been slowly scanning the pictures that my sister could collect. It's very painful actually because they bring memories, and stories that soon I will scrapbook about once I have these pictures ready. This is my dad and our fellow past dog, and I see pictures of him and her both in heaven now, make me think that I know why I love dogs so much because my father was such a good owner for her. He did everything, while my mom always was the kind of people that dogs was something you have on your backyard and say hello sometimes. She never allowed the dog at home, or even step in the kitchen. But my father loved her. Today , I do things that probably my father would do (if was not for my mom) I have my dog inside my house as part of the family. It's kind of funny Lucas is going to be born on March, this month won't be so sad like this past 4 years... I miss my dad..... Thank you for stopping by Jana

Let me begin with details of this page, first I begin doing a the pictures in a digital template, that I got here for free, this girl does great templates for you to download for free. Why digital templates? To me they are the best way to crop your photos and put them together the way you want. This particular one was a 5x7 with scalloped borders that I've used some digital pages. Word brush and frame around the the bigger picture from Ali Edwards Digital line. Then you can have fun with papers.
